Jewel is originally from New York and was raised in Tampa Bay, Florida. She now lives in the heart of New York City. She began acting & dancing at the age of eight and has years of experience in stage, theater, film and improvisation.

She attended Florida State University, simultaneously working toward two bachelor's degrees in Creative Writing (with a minor in French) and Dance (with a minor in Theater).

Her television credits include AS THE WORLD TURNS, LAW AND ORDER, GOSSIP GIRL, and the new Brett Ratner Pilot. Jewel has also appeared in television commercials for PAPA JOHN'S PIZZA, SAM ADAMS LIGHT, URBAN REBOUNDING, and the ORTHO-EVRA PATCH, and independent films in New York, Florida and Italy.

As a stage actor, Jewel has performed in the national tours of BROADWAY DANCIN' and BLUE'S CLUES, regional performances of SWING!, GREASE, BYE BYE BIRDIE, and HAIR, as well as numerous
off-Broadway productions.
